I have a lot of different cultural heritage in my background but one I missed is Irish. Maybe if I had an Irish background, I would be a lot luckier. Just kidding. But, I am not going to pass up an opportunity to be given as many Irish luck toasts as I can get. It is always pleasing on many celebrations to be the recipient of toasts from admirers, friends and colleagues. And, it is always nice to receive an Irish luck toasts just in case some of their luck rubs off on me. And, not that I am superstitious or anything like that because I do walk under ladders, I am not passing up anything good that can be tossed my way. We all probably know that luck is not something that you can just ask for and receive; luck is what you make for yourself by working and giving that extras effort, or finding an opportunity and rather than waiting for it to come your way, you go after it. But, an Irish toasts can’t hurt.
